This is the first phase of developing a UICO solution using the duraTOUCH^® device. Based on the host application, size, shape and stack-up is decided in this phase. These options will also determine the type of duraTOUCH^® controller used in the final solution. There are several choices for the touch controller based on the application and the detailed specifications for each one of them can be obtained from the duraTOUCH^® Controller Specifications section. While the hardware is being designed, the user can evaluate the touch performance, develop device driver and measure current using the Development Kit provided by UICO.
